What support may look like

Depending on the assessment, care may include Personal care, meals and hydration, medication support, help with routines, appointments, correspondence, emotional reassurance, social connection and monitoring of agreed changes in wellbeing.

A calm and respectful approach

We ask what helps the person feel understood, what may increase distress and how staff should communicate. Support should be consistent, non-judgemental and clear. Staff do not argue with distress, make promises they cannot keep or use coercion to secure compliance.

Working within clear boundaries

MoreLoved Care does not diagnose mental health conditions, provide psychotherapy, counselling, crisis treatment or replace community mental health teams. Staff follow the care plan, record observations and contact the agreed professional or emergency route where concerns arise.

Choice, privacy and risk

People should remain involved in decisions and retain ordinary rights. Where risks involve self-neglect, exploitation, medication, self-harm, deterioration or the home environment, the response must be individual, lawful and proportionate. Safeguarding or urgent health concerns may require information sharing without relying on consent alone.

Continuity and changing needs

Familiar staff and predictable routines may support trust, but continuity cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance. The service monitors changes, staff feedback, incidents and the suitability of the package. A review may be required if needs move beyond the agreed homecare scope.
