01
What you should be able to do
Use keyboard navigation; zoom and reflow text; use a screen reader or speech input; understand headings and links; complete forms with clear labels and errors; pause non-essential motion; access captions or transcripts; and request information in another format.
02
Accessible content and formats
Priority information is available in clear HTML. Important downloads are produced as accessible documents, with Easy Read, large print, plain text or another reasonable format available on request.
03
Standards and testing
The website is designed and tested against WCAG 2.2 AA using automated checks, keyboard testing, screen-reader review, zoom and reflow, colour contrast, mobile testing and user review where appropriate. The final statement must state the audit date, pages sampled and conformance result.
04
Known issues
[Before launch, replace this text with the final tested list of any known issues, affected content, workarounds and target dates. If no known issues remain, state the tested scope rather than claiming universal perfection.]
05
Third-party content
Some maps, video, forms, job platforms or external documents may be provided by third parties. We assess them and provide an alternative where a barrier cannot immediately be removed.
06
Request an alternative format
Contact us by telephone on 0115 681 2514 or email sharon@morelovedcare.co.uk. Tell us the information required, preferred format and how to contact you. Requests receive immediate automated confirmation where submitted online and a human response within one working day.
07
Report an accessibility problem
Tell us the page, task, device or assistive technology and what happened. You do not need technical language. We will investigate and explain the available alternative.
08
Enforcement
If you are dissatisfied with our response, the live statement should identify the current applicable enforcement or advice route. This information must be checked immediately before publication.
09
Statement preparation

Clarifications
Do I need an accessibility toolbar?+
No. The website should work with browser and assistive-technology settings. An overlay is not a substitute for accessible design.
Can I request paper information?+
Yes, where reasonable. Contact the team and explain the format needed.
What should I include in an accessibility report?+
The page or task, what you were trying to do, the barrier and how we can contact you. Device details are helpful but optional.
Will reporting a barrier affect a care enquiry?+
No. Accessibility feedback is used to improve access and does not affect service consideration.
