As an organisation, we prioritise the safety and protection of our service users and staff. The key area we focus on is ensuring that our systems, processes, and practices are geared towards keeping people safe and safeguarded from abuse. We also monitor and manage these systems to ensure that service users are supported to stay; therefore, The key is that all our services are designed to ensure their safeguarding and protection. In the event of any incidents that require safeguarding measures, we will work closely with multi-agency partners, service users, and staff in conducting a thorough investigation. We understand that such investigations can be distressing, and we will provide support and assistance to minimise any distress while fulfilling our duty of care and legal obligations.
One of the key areas we focus on ensuring that our systems, processes, and practices are geared towards keeping people safe and safeguarded from abuse. We also monitor and manage these systems to ensure that service users are supported to stay safe, and their freedom is respected.
Our staff members are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced, enabling them to deliver effective care and support to our service users. In accordance with legislation and guidance, we always seek consent from our service users before providing any care or treatment.
To meet the legal requirements of the regulated activities that Moreloved Care is registered to provide, we comply with various acts and regulations, including but not limited to Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Disclosure and Barring Service Transfer of Functions) Order 2012, Serious Crime Act 2015 Section 76, Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004, The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, The Modern Slavery Act 2015, Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, The Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 Section 20-25, Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, The Care Act 2014, Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009, Equality Act 2010, The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) Regulations 2015, Human Rights Act 1998, and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Moreloved Care is committed to safeguarding adults at risk of abuse or neglect. It is the responsibility of all staff working for or on behalf of Moreloved Care to understand their role in safeguarding and to know who to escalate concerns to within the organisationwell-being. The aim is to manage the sto whom to escalate concerns to within the organisation wellbeing of adults in line with the six principles of safeguarding and to identify lessons to be learned from cases of abuse or neglect.
Moreloved care strives to empower adults to make choices and have control over their lives while preventing abuse and neglect. Moreloved Care adopts the Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) approach with all safeguarding concerns to ensure that all adults at risk of abuse or neglect are able to live, work, and be cared for in an environment free from harm.
The organisation recognises that safeguarding policies and procedures align with local multi-agency policies and procedures that take priority over the organization's policies. Moreloved Care ensures that local policies and procedures are integrated into their own policy and shared with all staff.
Services provided must be appropriate for adults at risk without discrimination based on disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, culture, or lifestyle. Every effort is made to enable customers to express their wishes and make their own decisions while recognizing the involvement of risk.
Moreloved Care works with customers and others involved in their care to provide support and protection, listen and treat them with respect, and ensure they are treated with compassion and dignity, including their property, possessions, and personal information.

All decisions and actions taken at Moreloved Care Primary Care are in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Our top priority is to ensure that every adult at risk maintains their choice and control, safety, health, quality of life, dignity, and respect.
To ensure this, we have put in place robust governance processes that will make sure that all staff working for and on behalf of Moreloved Care recognise and respond to the primary forms of abuse. These forms of abuse are set out in the Care Act 2014 Statutory Guidance Chapter 14. Therefore, we encourage service users, their families, or representatives to openly discuss any aspect of their care that falls short of the expected standards. If we are unable to resolve the issue together, we will support and assist you in taking the matter further.
